· The Real Elijah Spirit of the Bible

· Personal surrender to God IS His power

· They say, “To pray Let Your will be done,” nullifies your prayers; ‘incubate your own miracles!’

The so-called “mighty men” of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Movement allege they are, like John the Baptist was, true “Elijah prophets;” although “mighty men” were an abomination to the God of the Bible, (Gen. 6:4-8.)  But not caring two hoots about the Scriptural Word of God, they say they carry the ‘spirit [or super anointing] of Elijah.’  Thus, they are not only ‘manifest gods or god in the flesh and christs,’ but also “mediating prophets who stand between humanity and God.”

Every one of their allegations is a presumptuous lie.  Jesus Himself is the Only Eternal Prophet, Mediator, and High Priest Who stands between man and God, (1 Tim. 2:5; Heb. 1:1-3.)  Jesus said that John the Baptist manifested the restoring ministry of Old Elijah.  Thus, “John was [past tense] Elijah who was to come,” (Mt. 11:13-15.)  This work of preparing Jesus’ ministry by restoring Old Israel to faith in Jesus, was completed and done away with through John the Baptist.

¨ So, when the priests and Levites asked John the Baptist, “Who are you?” John answered,  “I am not the Christ..  I am not Elijah… nor a prophet.. but the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the Way of the Lord…”  (Jn. 1:19-29.)  No one will ever again have to ‘prepare’ for Jesus’ ministry like John did, (Jn. 19:28-30.)

¨ The purpose of the “Elijah” ministry that manifested through John the Baptist was clearly explained as follows.  John 1:22-29, “Then they asked him, ‘Why then do you baptize [with water] if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor a prophet?” John answered, “I baptize with water, but the One… [for Whom I prepare His ministry, will baptize truly believing, blood-cleansed believers with the Holy Spirit at their rebirth, Mt. 3:11-12; Jn. 1:12-13; Acts Chapter 2.]  It is He, coming after me, Who is preferred before me, Whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loosen…  Behold!  There is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the [whole believing] world!”

Where can anyone who reads the Bible find an ‘Elijah spirit’ after John the Baptist’s ministry, the cross, and Pentecost?

To develop this great fallacy of ‘super-anointed, mediating Elijah prophets,” these wolves in sheep’s clothing eliminated vital, contextual statements in the New Testament while deliberately confusing the two different Old and New Testament Covenants with each other, (Heb. 8:13.) Old Testament/Covenant prophets such as Moses and Elijah stood for prophetic mediation between God and the Old Israeli nation, as the Old Hebrews could not speak to, or hear from God directly because this was before the cross and PentecostElijah’s ministry is forever in the past.  Jesus fully fulfilled the entire Old Testament covenant, which is now merely an “example” to New Covenant believers of how God deals with them according to His only New Testament Moral Law, (1 Cor. 10:11; Jn. 13:34.)

This is why God’s New Testament Word declares in Hebrews 1:1-4; 3:1, and in 1 Timothy 2:5, “God, Who spoke in time past, [during the Old Testament Covenant] by the prophets, has in these last days [in New Testament Covenant,] spoken to us by His Son… [Therefore,] consider the [Last and Final] Apostle, [Prophet,] and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus…. For there is One God and One Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”

The so-called ‘Restoration of God’s Kingdom on earth,’ or ‘Latter Rain, Worldwide Revival through the Elijah spirit,’ is a mockery of John the Baptist’s calling and especially of the New Testament Gospel and commission of Jesus Christ!  Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:18-20, “Go [in My full authority, preach My Real Gospel to] make disciples of all the nations, [water] baptize [these believing disciples…] and teach them everything I [not churches] have commanded you.”

¨ However, Pentecostal/Charismatics now changed Jesus’ water-baptism commandment in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18, to say this is where Jesus’ commanded their “holy-spirit baptism” through their saving ‘river of anointing,’ to manifest the speaking in tongues.  So, as their false ‘river of anointing flows though them’ and allegedly ‘saves’ everyone it touches, they accomplish their new, worldwide ‘revival.’  That’s why Benny Hinn, for instance, can simply wave his coat over hundreds of people and they will all fall down, fly backwards, and start screaming, wailing, howling, jumping, shaking, and speaking in some kind of strange babble-tongue.  Can any sincerely born again child of God really believe such blatant manipulation of Jesus’ Word to justify such incredible fallacies and demonic manifestations?

¨ What’s more, John the Baptist did not come to restore God’s kingdom on earth.  Jesus Himself said His Kingdom “is not from here.”  John’s New Testament ministry, (the counterpart of Elijah’s Old Testament ministry,) turned hearts from the falsehoods of Judaism to accept the New Covenant Christ Jesus and His Gospel of grace! – (Jn. 11:13-14.)

¨ That’s why Jesus said, “All the [Old Testament] prophets prophesied until John” [as mediators between God and man.]  But since John the Baptist, Jesus Himself is the final or last Mediating Prophet this earth will ever see — (Mt. 11:13-15; Hebrews Chapters 1-3; 7-9.)

The Pentecostal/Charismatic, New-Covenant-annulling “Elijah” spirit can never be the True Guide, the Almighty Holy Spirit of the Bible, working through them, (Jn. 16:8-13.)   The Real Holy Spirit and Scriptural Truth are inseparable.

Additionally, from Jesus’ final breath on the cross until now and forever more, He Himself is the only Mediator and intercessory High Priest between humanity and God the Father!  Thus, there can never be ‘a new breed’ of ‘christs and gods’ or super ‘Elijahs,’ who must ‘prepare the world for their [occult] River of Anointing, which will save them all.’

Þ Jesus said in Luke 1:14-17, “[John the Baptist] will… [like Old Elijah,] go before [Me] to return the children of Israel to the Lord their God [by preaching repentance from Judaism to Jesus. Repentance from the Old Testament Covenant to the New Testament Covenant, written in the blood of Jesus.]”  And Jesus unmistakably declared in Matthew 17:10-13, “Elijah has come already, and they did not know him but did to him whatever they wished…  Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.”

The “New Apostolic Reformation/Restoration” through the so-called Elijah-spirit, is merely the Roman-Catholic/Protestant Reformation speaking through these sincerely deceived people. Pentecostal Charismatics are the instruments of Rome to bring personally born-again believers back to the original Protestant Reformation under papal control.  This time, the “reformation” works through ‘signs and miracles,’ not through physical ‘crusades’ or centuries of bloodthirsty war and inhumane inquisitions like John Calvin and Company also committed.  It is, therefore, no coincidence that certain ‘Mary-anointed’ Catholics also ‘speak in tongues,’ heal the sick, etcetera.  Benny Hinn actually says, “Catholics manifest more miracles through the Eucharist than Pentecostals do [through Jesus.]”  (The Eucharist turns the Lords Supper into the cannibalistic, pagan/Christian rite of ‘eating the god.’)  Thus, some Charismatics also manifest Catholic stigmata, the ‘bleeding wounds’ of the Roman Catholic, cosmic christ that still hangs on the cross, and so forth.

The Original Reformation was never about repentance form the pagan-Christianized church forms and false doctrines of Roman Catholicism.  That is why Protestant Reformers such as Calvinists still “nullify” the Scriptural work and Gospel of Christ with their inherited Roman doctrines; secretly dragging millions of deceived Pentecostal/Charismatics behind them to eternal damnation.  In the process, New Reformers of all sorts also minimize the work of the constantly indwelling Holy Spirit and reject His Scriptural gifts; blasphemously calling His real gift of tongues “glossolalia,” while their Pentecostal  supporters turn the Scriptural works and gifts of the Scriptural Holy Spirit into pagan witchcraft.

The reason why I wrote so much about paganism, pederasty, patriarchy and misogyny, is to show how Christianity smeared all this pagan dirt over their norms, forms, and dogmas — and especially how that shaped the thoughts of modern clergy and their occult practices in church.  Never believe that “everything [important] God did is not written in the Bible,” and so, ‘we are manifesting these demonic miracles.’  In Matthew 4:4, when Satan tried to add to, and manipulate God’s Word, Jesus answered calmly, “Man shall not live by bread, [or even physical necessities or visible signs and miracles] alone, but from every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God…  It is written…  It is written…  It is also written!”

God explained everything we need for our spiritual, emotional, and physical lives in the entire context of Biblical truth!  Jesus will hold us accountable for every word we speak, because He saved His believers to show their (agape) love for Him through their obedience to His Moral Law, and to build His Kingdom in righteousness, Godly love, and His absolute truth.  Thus, lies, half-truths, and twisted truths such as false doctrines are tongue-murder, which clearly characterize us as emotional and spiritual murderers and children of the devil, for “he was a murderer from the beginning, and his will all [satanists or followers of lies] want to do...” as Jesus said to the hypocritical temple masters, (Jn. 8:44; Mt. 5:21-22.)

Still, Pentecostal-Charismatics believe the verse, “life and death is in the power of the tongue,” means they can ‘create’ their own reality and destiny ‘by the power of their words.’  Because they possess such self-assumed ‘creative power,’ they also teach that one should never confess any ‘negativity,’ thereby ‘cursing yourself and others’ “with the power of the tongue.”  To them, this means, even though you know about great mismanagement of funds, soul and life destroying abuse, and false doctrine; or if you are on the brink of death with pain and fever, etcetera, you must never confess “negativity:” sickness, problems, or weakness of any kind.  You should smilingly praise God while “withstanding the devil” by confessing you are healed, blessed, etcetera, until the miracle manifests itself.  Hence, you create your own realities!

¨ In Scriptural context, Proverbs 18:2 means, “to speak life” is to speak “the truth in agape/love.”  This relates to every kind of truth, but especially to the truth of God’s Word as His Truth is His “Love.”  To “speak death” is to sow discord and spiritual and emotional corruption through lies, manipulation, and the twisting of truth.  Jesus commissioned and anointed all His disciples to “go into all the world…” to declare the truth of His Gospel [which is Eternal Life] to everyone as the Holy Spirit leads us, and He promised that the “gates of Hades [not hell; no one can ever get out of hell,] shall not prevail against [God’s Truth.]”  False teaching, twisted doctrine, other maliciousness, and lies bring people to Hades or spiritual death, while proclaiming and teaching God’s truth bring people to Life in the here and now, and Life eternal in the presence of God beyond the grave, (Mt. 16:18; 28:19-20; Rom. 8:9 &14.)

¨ The power of life and death is really on the tongue — but not in the way ‘miracle-creating’ teachers believe!  As for “resisting the devil,” James 4:7-8 make it clear that it has nothing to do with positive confession.  He commanded, “Submit yourself to God.  [Then you can] resist the devil [with God’s Word as Jesus did in the wilderness,] and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God [in prayer, Scriptural obedience, praise, and worship,] and He will draw near to you.  Cleanse your hands, you [who sin,] and purity your hearts [and minds,] you double-minded...  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up!”

It is obvious that Jesus did not go into the wilderness, to Gethsemane, or to the cross smiling or practicing positive confession — although He never complained without reason and in a lack of faith.  He understood the cause of His torment and His destiny here on earth.  When Jesus “became sorrowful and deeply distressed,” and sweat blood in Gethsemane, it illustrated that Jesus’ humanity was just as real as His suffering, (Mt. 26:37; Lu. 22:44; Heb. 5:8.)  Likewise, our “soulical” or mental fight to grow in the truth of God and to progress in obedience to His will, (which brings real emotional freedom from the sin if this world,) is very real, because Satan does not shoot paper arrows, (Col. 2:9-10; Rom. 12:1-3.)

Personal surrender to God IS His power, because we must die to sin to live spiritually and emotionally in Him

The Holy Spirit taught us one fundamental, unwavering truth: by ourselves we are nothing, and we can do nothing without Him.  Contrary to the prosperity doctrine of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Movement, Jesus did not call us to be filthy stinking rich rulers in this world, although He will always make a way for us as ‘strangers and sojourners’ in this dimension, (Hebrews 11.)  Jesus called us to continually die the inglorious death of the cross, symbolically and even physically if necessary, for His True Cause.  Spiritual and emotional death to sin and self comes before Eternal Life in Christ, because His death and life transcends this world in totality.  Jesus called Himself The Resurrection and the Life and said we must die emotionally to everything and everyone that can keep us away from Him so that nothing, not even physical death itself, can touch our eternal lives in heaven, (1 Jn. 5:18-20.)

However, neither suffering nor spiritual and emotional victory make us special in any way.  It is simply part of our lifestyle  in Christ, which we accept under His will and guidance as ‘chastisement,’ which will benefit our characters and service to Him now, and bring us safely to home to heaven, (Heb. 5:8; 12:3-11.)  While we should take care not to fall into Satan’s trap to be pessimistic and complain, the ungodly doctrine of positive confession is nothing but the old occult technique of Visualization and Positive Confession disguised as ‘Rhema;’ the power of God’s spoken Word.

Of course God still does miracles!  And He really, through all the ages until He returns, gave us His Spirit and gifts to do His miracles, (Mark 16:15-18: Mt. 28:20; 24:11-14.)  Yet, in submission to God, we must always focus on our all-powerful God, the truth of His Word, and the leading of the indwelling Holy Spirit.  So, we must bring everything to Him in prayer first, instead of relying on a so-called ‘tongue-superpower,’ which allegedly ‘creates miracles.’

If we are in pain, hungry, and cold while we say we are not, we are lying.  We are not condemning or cursing ourselves or others by telling the truth, or by merely relating the facts of the situation. If we have prayed over illness and other afflictions and it persists, it is right and Biblical to continue praying and believing while we confess that God is able to heal and supply all your needs – according to His will, in His own time, and for His own glory.  God often tests our faith by not answering immediately; building His Godly character in us.  His answer might not always be positive either.  Point is, we must always hear from God personally; knowing that He always hears and answers us, (Col. 4:2-5; Eph. 6:18.)  But to say that we are suffering while we believe in, and wait on God, is not a lack of faith or cursing ourselves!

They say, “To pray, ‘Let Your will be done,’ nullifies your prayers;” you can incubate your own miracles

Pentecostal/Charismatic ‘Faith’ Teachers ‘overturned’ Jesus’ example of true faith by ‘changing’ the very essence of faith into the occult power of positive confession, to use it for personal and temporal wealth and ease in the here and now.  So, they even allege that one ‘nullifies’ your prayers by saying, “Not my will, but Your will be done.”  They pretend to know better than Jesus, Who prayed this prayer in His full humanity, and also taught us to pray that to our Father in heaven!

They say God gave all His ‘authority’ to them to act as independent gods; creating miracles or actually, “their own New Age reality.”  As they believe they are ‘god himself in the flesh’ or ‘manifest gods,’ their prayers consist of telling the True God of the Bible how to fulfill their will!  Thus, they incubate their own miracles!  So, who needs God, then?

What a scary scenario!  Mere men, who believe they are gods or supermen with the superpower to do everything as, and how they please!  Yet, Paul warned we must not “think more highly of ourselves than we ought to think but to think soberly!”  Instead, we must surrender ourselves daily to God to be “transformed in our minds to know [and do] the perfect will of God!”  There are no supermen among us; “we are all members of the same body in Christ...” (Rom. 12:1-6.]

The Charismatic/Pentecostal Movement modeled this witchcraft on the teachings of the Christian Buddhist Yonggi Cho, father of the worldwide ‘cell-church’ system and his techniques of Visualization and Positive Confession.

His formula to create your own miracles goes like this, 1)  Name it – “become pregnant with the desire by naming it aloud.”  2)  Frame it – “incubate it by visualizing it, or see it as a reality before your spiritual eye.”  3)  Then Claim it – “confess it until it materializes, despite all reality and feeling.”

These occult techniques to “make God perform” are witchcraft and idolatry straight from hell, (1 Sam. 15:22-23.)
